This list could go on and on! There are many terms for this exciting form of dance party. Some are interchangeable - some are not. Sometimes the addition of an adjective (eg a "SCOTTISH Ceilidh" or a "MAINSTREAM Square Dance") can change the meaning entirely.
Fortunately at ABDC we believe it is more important to find out from you the sort of event you are planning than to worry over the subtleties of terminology. That way we make sure you get what you want - what you really, really want - not simply what you are asking for!
