ACES HIGH is a group of musicians who have come together not just to fill the gap but deliberately to play for the enjoyment of dancers and the appreciation of non-dancers alike.

All too many bands either do not appreciate the needs of dancers - or consider playing for dancing as artistically limiting. Yet dancing is "music made manifest" and a far more sincere form of appreciation that an ovation that is only offered at the end of a concert. There are, of course, other bands which settle for a "rhythm generator" approach and claim to play ONLY - or more usually "specially" - for dancers. Unfortunately uninspired playing begets uninspired dancing.
